Apart from the price, Wooden being approximately 20% more expensive. Faux wood is basically plastic. Wooden is Real Wood. Aesthetically it’s very hard to the see difference between Faux and Wooden Blinds however I do recommend any South facing window to be fitted with Wooden blinds as there is a small possibility that Faux Wood may warp in time when subjected to constant sunshine.
That depends on the width of you blind/Curtain and the fabric used. As a general rule most fabrics over 130cm will have a join in them. However my chosen manufactures do try to join and match as best as possible.
Unfortunately not. Perfect fit Blinds are an excellent solution for UPVC windows where a clip can be inserted between the Glass and the bead to hold a frame. However even with UPVC widows it requires a Bead of 18mm or more for Pleated Perfect Fit and 20mm or more for Venetian Perfect fit. Should your window frames not fall into this category I can offer you a number of suitable and possibly less expensive alternatives?
I try to be as competitive as possible without compromising on Quality. My Wooden Blinds for example come from a sustainable source. My Headrails come from a Yorkshire Manufacture who I know does not take mass marketing driven short cuts. I do not offer a constant all year round RED HOT 50% sale. I do however offer attention to detail an excellent individual service, professional fitting and the right product at a fair price plus a fabulous array of materials and colours which I will always strive to be within your budget.
